Little Hooves Farm | Meet Your Farm Caretakers

Meet the Caretakers

Hey there! I'm Marci, the proud owner of Little Hooves Farm, and I'm here to share my journey with you! Once upon a time, I embarked on a meaningful adventure to obtain my special education degree. Helping individuals with unique needs has always held a special place in my heart, but life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths. After many years of being a Special Education teacher, I traded my classroom for pony pens. This happened back in 2013 when I purchased a few fainting goatsto bring more joy and laughter in my family’s life! Next thing you know, the goats lead to chickens, and the chickens lead to ducks, ponies, horses, a cow, a pig, cats, and bunnies! I love taking care of all of our farm friends along with giving our rescues a better life with lots of treats and snuggles! My heart swells with joy as I share the magic of this place with others. Hosting farm experiences is not just a job; it's a passion. Here at Little Hooves Farm, we don't just offer farm experiences; we create memories. Families, friends, and curious souls alike come to our slice of paradise to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They hold the chickens, cuddle with the bunnies, groom our ponies, and much more. It's a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the simple joys that barn life has to offer. As I watch children's faces light up when they hold their first fluffy chick or see the wonder in adults' eyes as they groom our horse, Ben, I am reminded of the magic that can be found in the everyday. So, come on over to Little Hooves Farm and join us in this incredible adventure! Let's make memories, laugh with the goats, and embrace the beauty of barn life together. See you at the farm!

Hey there, everyone! I'm Marina, and I wear two hats in my life: one as a dedicated college student at the University of Alaska, pursuing my passion for psychology, and the other as a proud member of the Little Hooves Farm family since 2017. Juggling academia and farm life may sound like a handful, but it's a delightful balance that brings me endless joy. Little Hooves Farm, without a doubt, is my absolute favorite place to be! I love the bonds we have built with these animals over the years and there is nothing better than seeing the trust with our rescues continue to grow! I am very thankful to call this place my second home.

Hey there, folks! I'm Jeff. I started working at Little Hooves Farm in 2022. I was a cook for 9 years before this, but I loved the thought of working with animals! I took a leap of faith, hung up my apron, and joined Little Hooves Farm. It has been such a fun time getting to know and learning about all of the animals here. Working with these furry, feathered, and hoofed friends has brought me happiness and makes everyday very interesting and there is never a dull moment! This farm has taught me many valuable lessons for life and I am grateful for my time here with all of my co-workers and animal friends!
